Where will we go?

Description
Taken in Boracay, Philippines (2016) • In response to the super typhoon that has recently hit the Philippines, 100% of proceeds from print sales for this photo will go towards supporting the Philippine Red Cross, "a humanitarian organization committed to providing quality, life-saving services that protect the life and dignity of Filipinos in vulnerable situations." A common phrase for visitors to the island: Siin kita maadto? which in Aklanon translates to: Where will we go? Aklanon is a local dialect spoken on the island of Panay. If you ask me where Philippine locals will go from here, my response: They will go on in stride. Their unwavering faith, strength, endurance and resilience will propel them forward. They will recover, rebuild, and move on like they never fail to continue doing.
