Beneath the lily pads
Description
Taken at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford, BC (2026) • Inspired by the words of Anne Lamott: “Like lily pads, these places summoned and then held me up while I grew. Each prepared me for the next leaf on which I would land, and in this way I moved across the swamp of doubt and fear.” • A portion of proceeds from print sales for this photo will go towards supporting the BC Wildlife Federation’s mission to protect, enhance and promote the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations. | Shot on iPhone, 120mm, f/2.8
